Costa d'Oro |
This was the first of three "Costas at Doral"
communities, Costa del Oro, Costa Bella and Costa Brava. The other two are north of 41st Street.
The three models are named for three towns on the coast of Italy and there is certainly an Italian look to the homes.
All homes have enclosed garages, and include all appliances, (refrigerator, dishwasher, stove, microwave, disposer, washer and dryer), oversized tile floors downstairs and carpet upstairs. All homes have dramatic high ceilings on both floors and there are many extra touches usually only found in much more expensive homes. Options available included upgraded kitchen counters and tiled patios.
These are new homes and square footage quoted is the builder's measurement. (Square footage quoted for other completed communities are tax roll adjusted square footage).

While this community does not have a recreational area attached, beyond a central, landscaped "tot lot", this
translates into much lower monthly maintenance fees than those generally to be found in the Doral area - the salesagents
quoted an expected $55 a month when an Association should be formed.
Currently, (April 2002) there are no resales on the market.
There are two elementary schools in Doral, a middle school and various charter schools including a charter high school.
